■Interpretation of the college logo

It adopts the concept of conceptual logo design, which highly condenses and summarizes the advantages, characteristics, development direction and goals of the college. The combination of C and E (CE) is chosen as the main body to express the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. C is the initials of chemistry, E is the initials of engineering C is the initial letter of chemistry and E is the initial letter of engineering, C expresses the attributes and characteristics of the college with a part of the stupid ring of chemistry; E is expressed in a three-dimensional form, resembling a step, which means the steady development and improvement of the college. C is the elemental symbol of carbon, expressed in gray color, meaning low carbon and environmental protection, which is our fundamental and goal to serve the society. E is expressed in blue, which is the representative of calm and broad color, a symbol of the pursuit of eternity, and also has the imagery of reason and truth-seeking.

■Interpretation of the school motto

Seeking truth: to seek practical learning, to preserve what is right and remove what is wrong. Meaning the scientific attitude and scientific spirit in the pursuit of truth;

Innovation: innovative thinking, innovative development. Meaning to use innovative thinking to improve or create, to achieve great development and progress;

Dukkha: dive into exploration, physical practice. It means to be faithful to science, to persevere, to unite knowledge and action, and to pursue true knowledge and ideals;

To be strong: to develop with advantages, to be strong and big. It means that through unremitting efforts to make it a landmark college in similar disciplines in the country, and a well-known college in the field of energy, chemical and environmental protection at home and abroad.
