She obtained her PhD degree in Physical Chemistry from JiLin University in 2006. After her PhD graduation, she moved to the Technical University of Berlin and joined Prof. Van Wuellen’s group as a Postdoc. In 2009, she moved to the University of California, Santa Barbara and joined Prof. Horia Metiu’s group as a Postdoc. In 2013, she joined the Catalysis and Materials division of the Institute of Metal Research as a research associate. In 2015, she became an associate professor at ShenYang Normal University. Her main research interest is to find effective catalysts for short alkane activation by computational simulation. She already published over 30 SCI-indexed papers on prestigious journals such as Chinese Journal of Catalysis, Journal of Physical Chemistry C, Chemical Communications etc. She is also principle investigator of several funding projects from NSFC, the Natural Science Foundation of LiaoNing Province etc. She opens several undergraduate courses including Physical Chemistry, Quantum Chemistry, and Molecular Simulation etc.
